I decided to just do one blog this week as I tapered in preparation for the Blackfly. I am really hoping the weather cooperates for this race, but at least I have a hotel room reserved so I can stay dry as long as I need to!
Workouts this week consisted of the following:
Monday- rest
Tuesday-30 minute swim (5 X 100s) and hour bike ride in Bristol
Wednesday- 20 minute run with 3 X 100 steady accelerations
Thursday- 30 minute bike ride and 10 minute swim easy
Friday- rest
Tomorrow I just need to pick up my wetsuit and some Gu gels and I will be ready to head to Waterville Valley for the weekend!
